Joey Ferber is an abstract folk artist based in Missouri. As a guitarist, he plays in several main projects including, avant-garde 13-piece jazz ensemble, Blvck Spvde and the Cosmos, alternative roots/rock band, Brothers Lazaroff, experimental drum & guitar duo, Joe 2 Morrow, and folk outfit Ferb and Lubar. He’s been a contributor to some of St. Louis’ most creative projects over the last decade including tenures with hip-hop band, LOOPRAT (and its subgroup Sojy Fatz) as well as having played alongside some of the areas most established artists including Farshid Etniko.
As a solo artist he released his debut full-length album, “Country Gone Wrong” in October 2020. The album’s title doubles as a description of its style…a batch of poignant folk songs produced with a sense of exploration and curiosity.
